Fixed fees for initial legal advice meetings (no hidden costs).
Option 1
To get initial legal advice as an individual in relation to your separation or divorce. Fixed fee £385 + VAT.
What you get:
a) Workbook.
b) A copy of my book, (Almost) Anything But Family Court.
c) Use of Engage. This is a tool for you to let me know all about your finances and other information. It saves you time and money if I have all the information to hand in the first instance.
d) A meeting with me to find out your rights and responsibilities, likely costs and timescales for the different ways of sorting things out.
e) A follow up email of initial advice.
Option 2
For initial meetings for pre nups, post nups, cohabitation agreements and Deeds of Trust a fixed fee of £385 + VAT.
This includes:
a) A meeting with me of around an hour to advise on advice on your rights and responsibilities.
b) A follow up email of initial advice.
c) Workbook - ‘Designing Our Future Together: a workbook for planning the next chapter’.
d) Engage - an AI tool to help me understand your financial situation and other details. It saves us time (and therefore money) when we start working together.
Option 3
For couples who want to meet with me to discuss the options to Sort Things Out the way forward: Fixed Fee of £470 + VAT.
a) A meeting with me of around an hour for me to listen and help you understand how you might move forward. Which process might suit you and your budget?
b) My book (Almost) Anything But Family Court x 2.
c) Workbook x 2.
d) Our Family in a Few Homes x2 (for couples without dependent children).
e) Our Family in Two Homes (for couples with children) x 2.
f) Engage - an AI tool to help me understand your financial situation and other details. It saves us time (and therefore money) when we start working together.
Option 4
First meeting in mediation - called solo sessions. Getting to know you and suitability for mediation. £385 + VAT - you get:
a) Meeting with me for about an hour.
b) Workbook.
c) My book.
Option 5
MIAMs - £250 + VAT:
a) Meeting with me for about an hour.
b) An invitation to your ex.
c) My book.
d) Form you need to issue an application at court if you don’t proceed to mediation or another non court option.
Option 6
One: One solicitor, One couple, One Solution. Fixed fee of £770 + VAT (between you) to include:
a) First meeting with each of you to decide on what you need and if this is the right process for you.
b) Workbooks (as above).
c) Engage (as above).
d) My book (as above)
Thereafter, my usual hourly rate is £300 + VAT per hour. [But if you work with me in mediation or in the One Solicitor model then that rate is shared between you.]
I do offer fixed fees (so please ask me) when I know a little more about your case and when I know which process you are using.
